So what you're saying is they sound German.

I think cars should reflect their country of origin, and many do. Even down to the exhaust note.

Audi V8s are subdued and serious, very German. American muscle cars are brash and loud and throaty, just like America. Japanese cars are typically flamboyant in a way, very bright and loud. Etcetera...
